{"id":248,"date":"2021-08-21T10:24:01","date_gmt":"2021-08-21T17:24:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thetimeisnear.com\/?page_id=248"},"modified":"2023-08-26T06:10:43","modified_gmt":"2023-08-26T13:10:43","slug":"gods-law","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.thetimeisnear.com\/?page_id=248","title":{"rendered":"God&#8217;s Law &#8211; Page 2"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-vivid-cyan-blue-color has-text-color\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Jesus taught that we are to keep the commandments:<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?\u00a0<br>And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, <strong>keep the commandments<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/mark><\/p>\n<cite>Matthew 19:16,17<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.<\/mark><\/p>\n<cite>Matthew 5:19<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-vivid-cyan-blue-color has-text-color\"><br><span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">The women that followed Jesus knew to keep the commandments:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">And the women also, which came with him from Galilee, followed after, and beheld the sepulchre, and how his body was laid.\u00a0<br>And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; <strong>and rested the sabbath day according to the commandment.<\/strong><\/mark><\/p>\n<cite>Luke 23:55,56<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-vivid-cyan-blue-color has-text-color\"><br><span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Please note that this is after His death on the cross.
